You do not have to be moving yet. A good share of what we answer is from people months out who want to know whether a wardrobe will come down a winder staircase, or whether a lorry gets down their lane.

Hours Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm. Saturday mornings. Anything sent outside those hours is answered on the next working day.

Moving from an older property?

Tell us roughly when it was built and what the staircase does. If you already know a particular piece is tight — the wardrobe that came in before a door was hung, the piano — mention it now rather than on the day.

Somewhere rural?

The lane matters more than the house. Width at the narrowest point, the surface, and whether there is anywhere to turn. Send a photograph of the approach if that is easier than describing it.

Something went wrong?

Email and say so plainly. The booking contract covers claims and the time limits on them. We would rather handle it with you than have you picking through clauses unaided.
